Zombie Walk SD - CANCELLED. -_-

Hysterical - Listening to: Lazlo Bane - I'm No Superman
Taken from their myspace:
As you may know, we've been trying to work something out with a theater to allow us to see the movie after a walk. Theater managers are wary of allowing people in costume/makeup in to see the movie, as the fake blood/makeup could be messy. They're also worried about possible liabilities if people who already freak out about zombies go to see the movie and then realize there are zombies a few rows behind them. And this is all completely understandable, which is why we've been trying to work out a solution.
Unfortunately, the only solution is this:
We can go see the movie as a group - NOT in makeup/costume - and then go out to lunch afterward to discuss the next walk location, date, and time.
Or we can have a walk this weekend and everyone can go see the movie on their own time.
Personally, I feel that the first option is the best one and I would really like to move forward with it. Having said that, there is a matinée showing of Diary of the Dead on Saturday afternoon, at 1:10pm @ AMC Palm Promenade 24 (770 Dennery Road, San Diego, CA 92154). I think this would give everyone a chance to see the movie at a lower price ($8.50 per adult ticket) and at a more convenient date/time.
So... for those that don't want to read the essay of a bulletin...
COME SEE DIARY OF THE DEAD WITH US!
Saturday, February 16th @ 1:10PM (please be early)
AMC Palm Promenade 24
770 Dennery Road
San Diego, CA 92154
Matinée - $8.50 per adult - Pre-purchase tickets here (highly recommended)
No zombie costumes, makeup, or blood, please. This is NOT a walk.
Lunch afterward at a location TBD as a group. Movie is 1:35 in length, so if you miss the movie and want to join us for lunch, meet us outside of the theater at around 2:30-2:45.
PLEASE RSVP VIA MESSAGE, SO THAT WE KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE TO EXPECT!
Thank you.
Eh, I ain't gonna be going to this. Gonna be packed that day. -_-
